Intervention on Théodore Géricault's "Le Radeau de la Méduse" (The Raft of the Medusa).
This is part of a personal pictorial project entitled "Mechanoids", where industrial mechanoids will take their place in some of the greatest paintings of the nineteenth-century.
And so they find salvation, floating toward their angry brass god, whose cogs and wheels threaten to devour their hopes, their dreams, and their humanity.
Holy kaus and such! Man.... I have to ask... How long did this take you? I have a hard enough time drawing two people in an accurate proportion... Let alone an entire raft full of them. This is beautiful. ^^
