"Therefore Morgoth came, climbing slowly from his subterranean throne, and the rumour of his feet was like thunder underground. And he stood before the king like a tower. But Fingolfin gleamed beneath it like a star;for his mail was overlaid with silver, and his blue shield was set with crystals; and he drew his sword Ringil, and it glittered like ice, cold and gray and deadly."

My humble tribute to the ultimate confrontation of Fingolfin against Melkor, The Enemy, Morgoth, Master of the Fates of Arda, as described on The Silmarillion.

No es un humilde tributo al duelo de estos dos colosos del Silmarillion, este dibujo es una maravilla visual. Lleno de detalles magníficos, pero inundado de pinceladas sueltas, automáticas, casuales, brillantes, que impregnan de movimiento y color efectista a tan magnífica pieza de arte. El contraste entre ambos personajes es magnífico, y el diseño de Morgoth es brillante, inspirado, magnífico. La luz y la sombra. Muy conseguido.
Me llama muchísimo la atención cómo puedes cambiar de un estilo a otro a la hora de pintar, puedes pasar de un estilo caricaturesco a otro realista, lo cual demuestra grandes habilidades.
Un placer visitar tu galería de nuevo. Como te estoy siguiendo estaré atento a las novedades de tu magnífica galería.

Es verdad que en esta pieza intente manejar el arte conceptual lo mas fuerte posible. Grandes contrastes de formas y luces, para diferenciar la torre oscura que es Morgoth, y la estrella brillante que es Fingolfin.
